Glikia Simmoria played music as if they wanted to justify their name, which in Greek means a gang that has smooth and sweet manners…a contradiction. 

 

Their songs were a delicate balance between hard sounds and soft melodies, a ‘pop’ rock band or a ‘rock’ pop band, a territory that is hardly visited in the Greek music scene.

 

The lyrics are supporting the melodies which form the basis on which the songs are built, songs with direct everyday life themes, big choruses and strong guitars…
